Where do you start?

Good question! Assuming you've made up your mind that you are going to make a serious commitment to Internet marketing and not be in the 95 % who give up if they don't make their money back in the first week, congratulations, you've started out with the best asset you could possibly have... positive mindset! That's the best advice I could give anyone. People who are much less intelligent than you (IE, me), are succeeding at it, simply because they believe they can, and they are too stubborn to let anyone tell them they can't. What did I know about setting up sequential mailers, and daisy chaining my marketing portals for higher SEO 4 months ago? Well, in a couple of choice words... I didn't know Jack Scat! But here's the thing, it's not rocket surgery my friends, it's just a matter of learning to use a few new tools. After a while, you'll be as proficient with say... Blasotmatic as a carpenter is with his level or chalk line. Point being, you learn quickly by doing, especially if you have a little interest and incentive going for ya. Increased confidence comes through practice and familiarity, but in the beginning you just have to believe in yourself. Start positive, stay positive, and affirm yourself daily. Surround yourself with positive, motivational stuff. For instance, click here and sign up for free daily motivational messages. You know what works great for me? I've got an old form (a recipe checklist) that I used to have to fill out all the time at my former "day job". Whenever I look at it I feel thankful that I don't have to do that anymore, and I'm inspired to learn the next Internet marketing technique.
In my next installment, I'll get to the actual "rubber meets the road" steps one should take (IMHO), in getting started in Internet marketing.
God Bless, Rob
